Ontario.Center offers five marketing services for Ontario trades businesses. You don't need all five. Pick the one that fixes the biggest leak between a homeowner's first search and a signed job, then add the next only when the first is working. This page explains how to make that call.
-
Credential-forward trade websites
A site that shows Ontario homeowners who you are, what you're registered for and how to reach you, in that order.
-
Ontario local SEO and Google Business Profile
Get found in the towns you actually drive to, without fake addresses or doorway pages.
-
Seasonal Google Ads for Ontario trades
Spend more when Ontario weather sends people searching, and less when it doesn't.
-
Program-aware content
Accurate, dated pages on Ontario energy programs that homeowners ask about, linked to the administrator.
-
Call, text and quote follow-up
Answer faster and follow up on quotes in a way that respects CASL.
Find the leak before you pick a service
The quickest way to choose is to trace one recent job backwards and see where most people drop off. Every lead passes through four stages: found, trusted, contacted and closed.
| Stage | Symptom | Service that addresses it |
|---|---|---|
| Found | Few calls, and you rarely appear in map results for your town | Local SEO or seasonal ads |
| Trusted | Visitors reach your site but don't call | Credential-forward websites or program-aware content |
| Contacted | Missed calls, slow replies, voicemails never returned | Call, text and quote follow-up |
| Closed | Plenty of quotes, too few wins | Follow-up first, then pricing and offer review |
If you can't tell which stage is weakest, count for one month: calls received, calls answered, quotes sent and jobs won. Divide each number by the one before it. The smallest ratio is where to start.
Credential-forward trade websites
A website is the right first purchase when people are finding you but not calling. An Ontario homeowner comparing three trades often checks the same few things: are they real, are they registered for this kind of work, do they serve my town, and how fast can I reach them.
We build sites that answer those questions on the first screen, with registration details shown accurately and linked to the official lookup where one exists. The website service page explains what's included and the usual three-to-six-week timeline.
Ontario local SEO and Google Business Profile
Local SEO comes first when the phone is quiet and you're invisible in the map results for towns you serve. In Ontario that usually means handling a service area that spans several municipalities, sometimes two or three regional governments, without creating fake locations.
Expect results to build over months, not days. The local SEO page sets out what we do in the first 90 days and what we measure.
Seasonal Google Ads
Ads make sense when you need calls this month, or when your demand swings hard with Ontario's seasons. A furnace company's winter, a roofer's spring storm season and a landscaper's April rush all reward spending heavily for a few weeks and pulling back afterwards.
The seasonal ads page shows how we set a budget from your job value and close rate, and how we decide when to turn spend down.
Program-aware content
This service suits trades whose customers ask about provincial or utility programs, such as heat pump rebates through the Home Renovation Savings Program. Homeowners search for these programs by name, and a clear, dated page that links to the administrator earns trust because it doesn't overpromise.
Every page we write names the administrator, carries a date, and tells readers to confirm details with the program. The program content page explains the rules we follow.
Call, text and quote follow-up
Follow-up is the cheapest fix and often the biggest. If you're on a roof or under a sink, calls go to voicemail, and a homeowner with three numbers to try will simply move to the next. Quotes sent without a follow-up also go cold more often than owners expect.
We set up the routines and message templates, and we make sure your texts and emails respect Canada's anti-spam rules. See the follow-up service for details, and the CASL follow-up guide if you'd rather do it yourself.
What every service has in common
All five are scoped in writing, priced on Trades.Agency plans shown on our pricing page, and run month to month. You own your website, your domain, your Google Business Profile and your ad accounts from day one. If you want to see how this method worked in our HVAC client work before deciding, the results page lays it out.
Frequently asked questions
Which service should I start with?
Start where the leak is. If people find you but don't call, fix the website. If they can't find you, start with local SEO. If calls come in but quotes stall, fix follow-up first, because it costs the least.
Can I buy just one service?
Yes. Each service can be scoped on its own and folded into a Trades.Agency plan. We'd rather do one thing well than sell you a bundle you don't need.
Do you do the trade work as well?
No. We are a marketing and consulting service only. We never install, repair or service anything, and we don't subcontract trade work to anyone.
Do you handle licensing or WSIB paperwork?
No. Those questions go to the body that runs them, such as TSSA, ESA or WSIB. We only help you show your existing credentials accurately in your marketing.
